I've been reading through the blog reaction to Nick Clegg's public service speech.
The reaction from the Tories has been hilarious.
What they were hoping for was havoc in the LibDem ranks, following the speech.
In fact, LibDem blog reaction was extremely laudatory. The odd niggle, but generally the speech was enormously welcomed by LibDem bloggers.
But that didn't stop "Conservative since 1973" "Man in a shed" trying to wishful think a bit of internal strife with his posting: "LibDem Civil war warning". It included this hilarious comment:
If I was Nick Clegg I'd be trying to figure out how to cancel the party conference in the Summer...
Laugh? I haven't stopped yet.
