Chad Varah - one of those rare people

Not many people can say that they have actually done something which has made the world a better place.

One person would could say that was the Reverend Chad Varah, the founder of the Samaritans, who has died.

By setting up the Samaritans he has helped to save the lives of countless people and eased the anguish of many more.
