Tomorrow the Telegraph will splash all the sordid LibDem MP expense details over its front page. I hope the details aren't sordid but I am bracing myself for the worst.
Any LibDem MPs who have broken the spirit of the rules and claimed for frivolous or luxurious items should PAY THE MONEY BACK! If they don't do this immediately they should have the whip withdrawn from them. Any particularly horrendous examples (like, perish the thought, Margaret Moran) should immediately be deselected as well as being publicly disemboweled, hung, drawn, quartered and have their tongues buried in the sand below the low water mark (that's a Mason's thing by the way, I am not being gratuitously grisly).
