I have delayed making any pronouncement about the Presidential contest. I have now had a good look at Ros Scott's excellent website and I have decided to support her for President. She is supported by people for whom I have a great deal of respect and admiration - especially Shirley Williams, Gerald Vernon-Jackson, Ed Davey and Gareth Epps. I believe that she very strongly has the right background, record and character to be an absolutely superb President of the party.
