Last November a very close friend of mine passed away from liver cancer. As I worked alongside him I was very aware of his illness, but also his great courage in "carrying on regardless".
Sarah Scrafford, who writes on health subjects, offered to write a guest post for Liberal Burblings. I gladly accepted and asked her to write on the trauma of liver cancer, in memory of my friend.
She has written an informative and moving article which will follow shortly.
