Will Young splashing out to bone up for Question Time

Will Young is apparently spending up to £100 a week on newspapers and periodicals in his local newsagent, as he prepares for his Question Time appearance. The Exeter university graduate is determined to sufficiently bone up on current affairs and not to "bomb" on the show like other pop colleagues such as, allegedly, Alex James.

If I could find where this story is I would link to it, but I can't. Sarah Kennedy read it out this morning.

UPDATE: I have now found the story in the Sun:

The Whip
Pop Idol winner Will Young is taking his appearance on next month on BBC1's Question Time very seriously. The Exeter University politics graduate has been spotted in his local newsagent in West London buying newspapers and periodicals to swot up with. "He spends about £100 a week," marvels the Whip's source. "He's been doing it for weeks because other singers like Alex James from Blur and Boy George havebeen on the show and he doesn't want to bomb as they have."
