Obama's oath - legally suspect?

Yesterday I joked that the oath of office taken by Obama would be legally challenged because he split an infinitive. On reflection, I am not even sure what a split infinitive is, but, in any case several constitutional lawyers have suggested that Obama should repeat his oath of office to be on the safe side, after the Chief Justice led him astray so that the spoken words were not strictly as per the US Constitution.

By the way, you know when you're getting old, when even the Chief Justices look like thirty year olds.
