Nick Clegg must be on to something

I see that David Davis has pounced on Nick Clegg's proposal to allow an "earned" amnesty for 600,000 foreigners who are living and working illegally in Britain.

    This proposal reads remarkably like Early Day Motion 1371 from earlier this year. One of the sponsosrs is John Bercow and amongst those supporting it are John Gummer, David Curry and Peter Bottomley, all of course being Conservative MPs.

    An example of Conservative hypocrisy?
