The BBC got looks of comments after Andy Burnham, Culture Secretary, appeared on Question Time. Here's one:
What's with the makeup? Pink lipstick, pastel eye-shadow, eyeliner and mascara.
Another added:
He looked like a doll.
Apparantly it is his natural beauty - he's had snide remarks about it since school.
Burnham said:
I can only say, hand on heart, that I have never ever worn mascara.
