IRONY SETTING: OFF
I wouldn't dream of making light of a miscarriage. There is no "but" coming.
Today, my attention was caught by a summary of a magazine interview with Jade Goody. In it she said:
After the miscarriage I did ask: 'Why is all this happening?' I thought it was God's punishment for something I'd done.
Interestingly the Church of England have responded via the Bishop of Croydon:
Jade Goody can be sure that losing her baby wasn't a punishment from God. God doesn't punish people. He stands by them and shares in their suffering as we see in Jesus Christ.
